BABY BOY CUPCAKES

Last Sunday, I made these baby blue cupcakes for my sister-in-law and her new bundle of joy, a baby boy, Mohd Hanif Imran. I had so much fun making these cuppies as I'm a hardcore fan of the colour blue especially baby blue 
However, I dreaded the photo session as my hubby was already in the car with the engine running. I know he was eager to see his new nephew but all those were making me nervous and kalut. So, i was snapping pictures like a bullet train. The outcome - not so clear pictures

MY FIRST ATTEMPT AT DECORATING CUPCAKES

I got really interested looking at pictures of beautiful cupcakes done by various people here at fotopages and flicker. Alhamdullillah, finally I got the chance in trying it myself when I enrolled in a cupcake decorating class in Bangi last May.
It was indeed very interesting to learn something that I love to do since I was a little girl - baking and decorating cakes. So here are some pictures of the 'aftermath' of that decorating class. I'm very thankful to my mentor Chef Alan who's very dedicated in teaching all these techniques

MY ENGAGEMENT
|

As promised, here are the pictures of the gubahan and a small dias for my engagement. Let me explain a bit about the gubahan. For my side, I did everything in blue from the gubahan to the decoration of the room. For the gubahan, I opted for something sweet and simple as I really had no time during that time. The dias is an original idea that I have kept for a very long time. I've drawn the design about 6-7 years ago.
And for my husband's side, the choice is classic brown. Lucky thing, my hubby didn't care much about these thing and left it up to me. So I decided classic brown would be the colour because...I was the one who would be receiving it... MasyaAllah, I have to say that the gubahan that I made for my husband are pretty nice. This is not bragging. It's the truth. All made of basket which I made to look like a cage. I just love them. BUT, there are not many pictures of them coz my brother took the pictures from the wrong angle and definitely cannot be used as adverts sob..sob..sob

HAFIZ'S WEDDING 07.07.07

At last, I managed to get access to the net after 11 days of total lost of contact. Fuyoo macam ter'stranded' in an abandoned island plak .
I was in Gemas last two weekend for my cousin's Hafiz wedding. It was really interesting going there and staying in Gemas Golf Resort and interesting with all of my relatives occupying most of the rooms there...and conquering the pools....hehehe
The journey the was interesting but I was a bit worried as I brought with me the sirih and was very much afraid the flowers would wither when I got there. Alhamdullilah everything was okay. After lunch with my family, I was busy with the hantaran back again, last minute touching up of the duit maskahwin, the ring and bracelet and also the sirih.
So here are the whole hantaran plus the picture of the bride and groom. Aunty Jehan and Pakcik Bibin, nice doing business with both of you

Here are some more of the hantaran pictures. To tired to download all the pictures last night. My aunt and uncle came to the house this morning to bring back all the hantarans. Hehehehe happy to see that they were very excited about the hantaran and they said the hantarans were lovely. Alhamdulillah....one more satisfied customer  . HAFIZ'S WEDDING HANTARAN - WORK IN PROGRESS

I've finally managed to complete 7 out of 11 hantarans for my cousin's wedding. it was all hard work yesterday finishing the hantarans until about 12 am...and today my body is aching here and there due to sitting for too long a time.
But alhamdulillah, the work is done and I still have another 4 to go. Need to do it near the date of the wedding as I'm using perishable item for those hantaran. So have a look at my work, anybody interested to use my service (for tempahan) just post you orders/enquiries.

Still remember the bridal bedroom that I was mentioning before. Well at about 2 am, I started decorating with the help of my sister and brother (he's tall so I took advantage of his "tallness" to help me with the canopy. Thanks Lina & Pepi.
Have a look at the before and after of my bedroom. And I must tell you, it was absolutely, incredibly and on top of the world... romantic and cozy...

MY WEDDING HANTARAN

These are the hantarans for my wedding. They're a little bit simple for my style just because during that time I had 1001 things to think of. Thus, when it comes to ideas for hantaran, my level of creativity had gone down to nearly zero
Always wanted something fanciful and elegant for my own wedding as I did quite nice ones for those who paid me to do theirs. But I guess, this can never be realized especially when up till 1am of my wedding day, i was still making my hantaran. And at that moment, I was thinking "Will I have time to put on my decorative inai and decorate my bridal bedroom????" Lucky thing, I managed to do everything by 1pm of my wedding day....just a few hours short of my akad nikah and bersanding ceremony. Lucky thing both are done at the mosque and my big brother's brand new restaurant respectively or else the house would sure be packed with people.  Fuuuhh...it's kind of scary just thinking about it.
